Do you have problems handling large assemblies? Does it take too long to generate the assembly drawings – or is it not even possible?

i2e has created methods to handle problems that might occur when working with large assemblies in CATIA V5. The methods are generic which in essence means that they can easily be adapted to the current CAD environment (file based, ENOVIA PLM or ENOVIA SmarTeam). The course Large Assembly Management (LAM) contain the following topics:

Product structures– which tools in CATIA V5 simplifies the handling of large assemblies and how do you structure your assembly to optimize it in regards to LAM
Part Design – how to create a model that will simplify the handling in regards to LAM
Memory– tools and techniques to optimize computer memory issues
CGR – Management of CGR:s
Drawing methods – pros and cons as well as tips and tricks when handling drawings of large assemblies
System adjustments – fine-tune the system settings in CATIA V5 to optimize the handling of large assemblies

Knowledge of the following workbenches: Part Design, Generative Shape Design (GSD1), Generative Drafting, Assembly Design
